Cairo – Mubasher: Abu Qir Fertilizers posted a 152.7% year-on-year rise in its profits during the third quarter of fiscal year 2016/2017, according to a bourse statement.

Profits reached EGP 680 million in the three-month period ended 31 March 2017, compared to EGP 269.1 million in the same period of 2016.

The company generated profits of EGP 1.09 billion in the first half of FY16/17, up 115.3% from EGP 506.59 million in the same period of the prior fiscal year.
